Designed by John Macfarlane for the Royal Ballet 2016. These backdrops are for a new ballet choreographed by Liam Scarlett with music by Lowell Lieberman. They range in size from 18x11m to 25.3x12m and are painted on gauze and cotton canvas with Rowan Plinston, Ed Halsey, Duncan Morris and John Macfarlane.
